Join other Pepperdine Orange County Alumni in changing lives forever!

Our chapter constantly strives to uplift the Pepperdine mission of strengthening lives for purpose, service, and leadership. One of the ways we do this, in addition to supporting our alma mater, is to support outstanding charities based in Orange County.  This year we have elected to provide the gift of mobility to disadvantaged individuals throughout the world.

There are over 100 million people who live and crawl on the ground every day. For disabled persons in lesser developed countries, the dream of having a wheelchair is one that most won't even entertain. Free Wheelchair Mission is changing that. Since its founding in 2001, over 200,000 free wheelchairs have been distributed to disadvantaged poor around the world.  One wheelchair at a time, people's dreams are coming true. A $44.40 wheelchair, delivered for free, transforms a life forever.

We have set a chapter goal to provide 135 chairs by Pepperdine’s annual Step Forward Day in September.  Step Forward day is an opportunity for Pepperdine students, alumni, faculty and staff to show their support to hundreds of less fortunate people throughout the community and world.  As a Pepperdine Orange County Chapter, let’s shine on Step Forward Day by not only achieving our goal, but doubling it. You CAN make that happen and you can do it right now!
