Greetings!
The India container arrived in Chennai safely. Here is a message
from Father Winner:
| Dear Don, Praise the Lord. We have the wheelchairs in Tambaram. I am moved to tears when I saw the 40 Foot huge container make its way into our premises around 12.30 am midnight. We had around 12 people to offload the contents and we cleared it around 3.00 am. The wheels, chairs and frames were well packed and it was easy to unload. Thank you very much Don. I see the enormous love and trust you have on us by providing us such a big gift and opportunity. It is one of the happiest days of my life. Lovingly yours, Fr. Winner |
Yesterday Father Winner told me he has identified about 250 recipients already.
People
are lining up at his door, as word of mouth has spread the news.
This demonstrates the huge need for wheelchairs.
Regarding the wheelchair mission in Angola, Jose Neto moved 50 into
a region three days south of Luanda called Kuito-Bié. His plan is
to distribute most of the wheelchairs in the territories like this
one where the devastations of civil war are the most severe.
Elsewhere in the world, we have wheelchairs now in the following
countries: Afghanistan (10 wheelchairs), Sierra Leone (5), Ghana
(42), Estonia (4), Brazil (5), Nicaragua (10), El Salvador (2), and
Mexico (180)
OUR CHALLENGE
China remains our next target! We have a commitment to get a container to
Henan. More than ever, now we need your support. You are helping to change
