REGISTRATION AND COURSE INFORMATION

Registration

  • WesBanco Arena Entrance
  • Pre-Registration available through noon on April 24th for the following:
    • $15 Adult 10-Year Free Wheelchair Mission Marathon (2.62 mile Run, Walk and Roll)
    • $10 Child 10- Year Free Wheelchair Mission Marathon (2.62 mile Run, Walk and Roll)
  • Race Day Registration will be available on Saturday, April 26th at WesBanco Arena
    • $20 for all ages
Non-Competitive Half Mile Wheelchair Roll
  • The Half Mile Roll begins at the WesBanco Arena. It follows Main St. to 16th St. and makes a loop back to the WesBanco Arena.

Kid’s Fun Run

  • Kid’s Fun Run begins at 9:30 am for children 9 and under
  • Registration begins at 8:00 am on Saturday, April 26 only. No entry fee.
  • All Kid’s Fun Run participants receive free entry to all children’s actives upon completion of run. All other children $2 entry fee for children’s activities.

10-Year Free Wheelchair Mission Marathon - Run, Walk, and Roll2.62 mile Race

  • The 10-year Free Wheelchair Mission Marathon begins and ends at the WesBanco Arena. It follows Main St. into south Wheeling and returns on the scenic running and walking trail.
  • Children are welcome and encouraged to run walk or roll in the 2.62 mile event for the regular race fee if they are physically fit and sufficiently trained.
CHECK IN AND PACKET PICKUP
  • Packet pick-up will be from 8-9:30 am Saturday, April 26
  • Waiver must be signed this time.
AWARDS - Run Only
  • Top 3 overall male and female runners and walkers
  • Top 2 overall wheelchair racers
  • Top 2 finishers in each age group for the 10-Year Free Wheelchair Mission Marathon

  • 20 – 29

  • 50-59
  • 60+
HOSPITALITY
  • Entertainment will include B.E. Taylor
  • Timing by George Frazier
  • Quality short-sleeve shirts are guaranteed to first 150 entrants
  • Complementary snack and beverages for participants.
  • Water stations at mile 1 and mile 2
  • Showers available after race courtesy of CentreTown Fitness.
All are invited to stay after the race for family events hosted by Harmony House beginning at 1:00 Pm at the Heritage Port!

Free Wheelchair Mission is an IRS approved 501c3 non-profit organization based in Irvine, California, focused on transforming lives through the gift of mobility. It is estimated that there are over 100 million people in the world who are disabled and cannot afford to purchase a wheelchair. Free Wheelchair Mission delivers these wheelchairs to the poorest of the poor in developing countries who cannot afford to purchase one. As of February 2008, Free Wheelchair Mission has delivered over 300,000 wheelchairs to 75 countries around the world!
