About this Campaign

MOBILITY IN MOTION 2008 Free Wheelchair Mission is going ON THE ROAD this spring with a tour called “Mobility In Motion”! We will travel throughout the US -from April through July- spreading the word about the millions of children and adults worldwide who need the gift of mobility. Our 40 foot truck (stocked full of assembled wheelchairs and information on the mission and the countries we serve) will be stopping in a city near you to host fun and exciting events which will bring awareness to this great need! Whether it is at business, church, school, Rotary Club, or community group, we want to connect with you wherever you may be! For example, some cities are hosting a “Walk/Run for Mobility,” a city-wide BBQ, a Dinner Event/Cocktail Party, and a concert. The possibilities for an event are endless and totally up to you!
"ABILITY THROUGH MOBILITY" AWARD As much as we want to bring recognition to the world’s need for wheelchairs, we also want to help recognize and honor those in your city and/or organization who are disabled and have made a difference in making the world a better place within their own community. It’s called our “Ability through Mobility” Award. Please let us know if there’s someone you know in a city we’re going to who should be recognized!
	INVITE US TO STOP IN YOUR TOWN We have a few weekends open, so please let us know if you’d like for the Free Wheelchair Mission to stop in your city for a weekend event! Check the “City Events" page for more information and to check out the cities we currently have confirmed!

Free Wheelchair Mission is an IRS approved 501c3 non-profit organization based in Irvine, California, focused on transforming lives through the gift of mobility. It is estimated that there are over 100 million people in the world who are disabled and cannot afford to purchase a wheelchair. Free Wheelchair Mission delivers these wheelchairs to the poorest of the poor in developing countries who cannot afford to purchase one. As of February 2008, Free Wheelchair Mission has delivered over 300,000 wheelchairs to 75 countries around the world!
