More Mobility is one of the exciting fundraising teams recently formed to raise money for Free Wheelchair Mission through the Pacific Shoreline Marathon! Returning from a huge fundraising success last year, Craig Watkins, with Veolia Water North America, is teaming up with Mark Andrews with CDM Constructors and Michelle McLey, also with Veolia Water – this dynamic team is not only running in the marathon, but has also set a massive fundraising goal of $12,000, or half a container of wheelchairs!“
As one of the partners in Pacific Shoreline Marathon, I had the privilege last year of getting to know the FWM management and staff,” Craig stated. “What a great group of people, and what a terrific cause!” He added, “Making a difference in somebody’s life for only $44.40 is just amazing.”
Last year, Craig set his fundraising goal at $5,000, with a personal challenge to run a 5K if he raised the funds. He beat his mark, raising over $6,000, and has vowed to double it this year. Craig also lived up to his word and completed the 5K. “Most people figured I wouldn’t actually run it, but I stepped up!”
“This year is going to be even better,” Craig added. “The whole weekend of the races is a lot of fun, especially with Emmanuel there to help make it even more special. We’re really looking forward to raising the money, and to celebrating over Super Bowl Sunday.”

During the past two weeks our volunteers worked
our bright blue Event Booth at the following expos:
The Susan G Komen Race for the Cure Sept 15

The Bonelli Olympic Distance Triathlon Sept 30
They offered visitors a chance to see the wheelchair,
learn about Free Wheelchair Mission,
and sign up
to participate in the "Run, Walk & Roll for Mobility".
Look for us next weekend at the
